FACTS FOR TAKS Plays

Kids love to perform plays. Historically correct plays are an innovative way to cause active learning, encourage classroom community, and provide students with the opportunity to develop“memory hooks.” These TEKS based plays are a catalyst for discussion, extension, review, re-teaching and introducing a new unit.

Three New Historically Accurate Constitution Companion Plays

The Constitutional Convention: A Dramatization
Introduces students to Federalism, Virginia Plan, New Jersey Plan, Great Compromise, 3/5’s Compromise, and the Commerce Compromise. (Characters are based on the actual delegates and their arguments.)
